Leading with Vision. Delivering with Strategy. Centering Equity at Scale.

"Vision means nothing without disciplined execution.” - LaKiesha George

For over 20 years, I have transformed schools, coached emerging leaders, and built sustainable systems that scale excellence. My leadership journey spans founding a new K–8 campus, leading a turnaround school, and operating a flagship elementary school—all while driving results at both the school and network levels.

My leadership foundation was built through three distinct phases:

Phase 1

Founder’s Discipline: Building From the Ground Up

As the founding principal of a K–8 school, I developed operational systems, instructional models, and community partnerships from inception. I learned that sustainable schools are built on systems thinking, stakeholder investment, and clear vision. My team doubled academic outcomes within three years and created a replicable model of culture and academic success.

Phase 2

Turnaround Strategy: Executing Complex Change

I led a high-stakes turnaround as principal—reversing declining academic outcomes and securing a full five-year charter renewal. Through disciplined data use, leadership pipeline development, and strategic instructional engagement redesign, we doubled both ELA and Math proficiency rates. I coached operational directors and instructional leaders, aligning building initiatives with broader network goals.

Phase 3

Flagship Leadership: Scaling Impact Across Systems

Currently, as the principal of a flagship school, I serve on the Superintendent’s Cabinet. I drive cross-school instructional priorities, progress monitoring, and leadership coaching strategies. Our campus now exceeds pre-pandemic academic benchmarks, and I continue to influence district systems for instructional excellence, operational coherence, and culture development.

What Drives Me Forward

  • Equity isn’t an initiative—it’s embedded in every leadership decision I make.

  • Data isn’t just a mirror—it’s a map to strategic action.

  • Leadership pipelines aren’t built by accident—they’re cultivated with clarity and coaching.

I believe leadership at scale requires vision, operational discipline, deep coaching, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every scholar and educator.

Now, I’m ready to bring that same discipline, energy, and vision to a Deputy Superintendent or executive leadership role—working alongside teams to build systems that change lives.
